who are we?

We are Iris Lyre a multi-instrumental live-looping duo from Bristol, UK. Through a combination of musical improvisation, atmospheric field recordings and soulful vocals, we transform the poetry into sonic pictures of memories and moments.

We love exploring and experimenting with new ways to combine spoken word and improvised music.
